Why do I Meditate?

It brings me HOME
I feel soothed in my spirit
I stop worrying and trying to control everything
I sink into trust and surrender
I realize that ALL IS WELL
My body relaxes and I start to breathe into my stomach instead of holding it in
I feel a huge sense of relief
It carries over into my daily life…I see myself interacting in the world in a much calmer, more centered way
It makes me a happier person
I sleep better
I feel more grounded throughout the day
I look forward to my next meditation
I receive guidance and intuitive ideas when I meditate
I feel it is a time to listen to God rather than to talk to Him
It makes me stop and slow down
I know it’s always there for me
I realize that no matter what is going on around me, it is possible to maintain a calm, peaceful presence
It makes me more aware of everything
I feel like I am waking up to things I missed before
I don’t get so attached to outcomes
I feel more joyful and grateful
Everything gets really quiet
I feel like a human BEING instead of a human DOING
It softens my heart and I feel more compassion
I feel as if I am doing something beautiful for myself and the world​
